Testimonials

Why everyone is raving about ISD Health Solutions

Prior to being diagnosed with sleep apnea, I was tired all the time, would even fall asleep at a traffic stop light if it were red. In the 21 years since I began using the machine, I sleep soundly, am not tired all the time and don't fall asleep at traffic lights.

Gary Cecil

I would say had a significant impact on me, more sleep and feeling way better overall and also my wife is way better off as she can now sleep without my snoring.

Its one of the best things I discovered as well of course of reducing risk of stroke etc when I found out I had Sleep Apnea

Home Sleep Apnea Test FAQs

Yes, our in-home sleep apnea test is FDA approved and covered by most major insurance companies throughout the Caribbean. In fact, most insurers prefer and are switching to the more affordable in-home sleep testing (HST) versus the inconvenient and costly in-lab sleep study alternative.

It’s simple. Occasionally, our customers request information about submitting a health insurance claim for the in-home sleep apnea test. For more information on how to file an insurance claim on your own behalf, please contact us directly to review your options for testing.

Yes, we’ve made the in-home sleep apnea test very affordable and convenient compared to uncomfortable and costly in lab hospital testing costs. Our sleep testing options range from approximately $275-$595 USD depending on how many nights and the detail of the sleep study. You can’t afford not to know the truth about your sleep health because knowing could change your life forever! Moreover, this belief is shared by most insurance companies who typically cover about 70-90% of the cost. Finally, if you test positive for sleep apnea we can work with your health insurance provider to ensure you get the treatment you need in a timely manner. If you need CPAP treatment, our CPAP treatment program includes set up and training of your equipment, a follow up heart rate and blood oxygen level test for up to 7 nights on therapy and a additional follow up consultation all provided by ISD Health Solutions.

  • Step 1. You’ll speak with a sleepcare professional and if an in-home sleep apnea test is right for you then we’ll ship the sleep test device to your home or office upon your request, you’ll wear it overnight or for multiply nights, and your results will be provided to review in detail at your convenience.
  • Step 2. We will review your sleep test results with you and your bedside partner if applicable and send you a detailed report with a letter of explanation to your physician.
  • Step 3. If you don’t have sleep apnea than that’s great news! But, if you’re diagnosed with sleep apnea then we can help. We’ll handle all the details to ensure you get the right equipment and care for maximum treatment benefit.

An in-home sleep apnea test is intended for any person between 17 and 65+ years of age who have a suspicion of sleep apnea based on key risk factors such as loud and frequent snoring, daytime sleepiness, obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, sexual dysfunction and or witnessed pauses in breathing during sleep combined with how one answers question in a sleep risk assessment

While you sleep, the home sleep testing device records your heart rate and blood oxygen levels, how many times you may stop and start breathing on average per hour which determines your Apnea Hypopnea Index (AHI). This AHI calculation indicates the severity of Sleep Apnea ranging from Mild 5-15 events per hour, Moderate 15-30 events per hour, Severe30+ events per hour. Based on the severity of your sleep study results and symptoms, you will be provided options to consider for treatment to reduce risk of mortality and to improved your quality of life.

Yes, by law (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act or “HIPAA”) all records are kept strictly confidential..

The day after you have completed your sleep test, an email notification is sent to you and your physician indicating that your sleep results have been analyzed and is ready for review. We will review your sleep test results with you and your bedside partner at your convenience by following the instructions provided via email to schedule your follow up sleep report consultation.
